We left the supernatural of yesterday behind with today’s outing. We were firmly in the natural environment as we once again hit the South Downs Trail but in a different area. Today’s choice was Beachy Head, over towards Eastbourne. The photos tell the tale but the walk took us through a mixed landscape including farm fields and chalk cliffs. The common theme was beauty. Had a delightful picnic lunch about midway on our approximately six mile ramble and rewarded ourselves at the end of our exertions at The Tiger Inn in East Dean where Long Blonde and Legless Rambler were but two of the local brews on offer.
